I am an experienced English Language and Literature Tutor I also tutor French, Spanish and Italian. I have a good track record of boosting students' grades within a few months, as I focus completely on their needs. Most of my students each year attain A or A star grades in their tutored subjects.Experience
Since graduating from university in 2012, I have been a full time private tutor. I enjoy teaching a variety of subjects every day, and I especially love helping people to achieve their very best and get the grades that they truly deserve.I write poems and short stories in my spare time, so I have a keen commitment to English and Literature, as well as Classics and Ancient History. I studied Italian in Florence, Italy, where I also perfected my Spanish and French skills by becoming friends with international students. I'm equally comfortable teaching a range of different subjects as I take a very direct approach to teaching, focusing always on what the student needs and his or her specific exam requirements. This allows for a maximum boost in grades in the shortest possible time frame.
On top of tutoring, I also spent two years as Head of English for Cambridge Home School, where I created the course syllabus for students of all levels - including those with dyslexia and other learning difficulties. For the past three years I have also worked as an AQA examiner, marking around 350 GCSE papers each summer.
