Summary

I am a fully qualified Maths Teacher and have been teaching maths privately and in comprehensive schools for over 29 years. I have successfully tutored students through GCSE and IGCSE at both higher and foundation levels and have experience with all the major exam boards.

I have taught in comprehensive schools for over 29 years and at all key stages. I also have over 29 years of experience teaching privately and have an excellent, proven track record having always made improvements to my students' grades.

Tutoring Approach:
I will perform an analysis to tailor the individual needs of the student. Once the student has a good understanding of the concepts, I teach methods of answering exam-style questions, then move on to past exam papers giving them the skills and confidence to do well in the exam.
I can also offer short booster lessons to bring the student 'up to speed' or to prepare for exams that may require only one or two hours.

One of the best maths teachers for mathematics I've ever had. Simple and easy to understand lessons at a pace dependent on the student which broke down higher tier and A-Level mathematics excellently. Incredible teacher, would recommend to others.

I would recommend Geoff as a maths tutor to anyone who wants to get a top grade at GCSE. I was struggling to cope with some of the more difficult topics, but Geoff helped me to understand them. The way he explained them was really good and made them much simpler for me. I can now answer exam style questions on the more difficult topics.
