I am an experienced practictioner both in class and through online tuition for a wide range of science subjects at KS3, 4 and beyond. As an exam marker I am fully familiar with the expectations of current exam specifications and will utilise these skills to help you reach your science goals.Experience
I have 17 years of teaching experience as both a class teacher and a Head of Science. During this time I have taught across all of the science disciplines at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 as well as delivering AQA A Level Biology. I have delivered a wide array of GCSE qualifications at Key Stage 4 from the AQA, OCR and Edexcel examination boards to all levels of abilities. I am currently delivering Edexcel Combined Science (9-1) at both Foundation and Higher tier level as well as GCSE Biology. I have previously delivered the AQA trilogy qualifications and AQA Biology, Chemistry and Physics ensuring that I am familiar and up to date with the changing rigors of the exam boards.In addition to my 15 years of in class experience I have several years experience online tutoring delivering both GCSE and iGCSE's across Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Through face to face tuition I have prepared students for A Level Chemistry examinations also.
During the last 7 years I have been an exam marker for the OCR exam board giving me an enhanced understanding of the fine details of exam requirements and techniques.
