As well as tutoring, I have over 30 years of industrial experience in science, research and development, calibration, and testing.In industry I had to train, supervise and appraise teenage apprentices and new staff members, and give presentations at national and international conferences.
I have taken courses in public and technical speaking, communicating and influencing, time management, health and safety, GDPR, and auditing.
I believe that my broad ranging experience in industry and science has given me insight and knowledge that can help me keep my students interested and engaged, and can offer suggestions as to possible directions to take after completing their studies.
