Experience
I have been teaching Primary for nearly ten years, qualifying with BA Hons in 2015. During my time teaching, I have taught across all of the primary key stages, led both core and foundation subjects and ensured all children make good levels of progress.My record shows consistently good teaching across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Having taught children with a range of backgrounds, abilities and additional needs, from EYFS to Year 6, I have adapted my teaching to suit a diverse range of learning styles. This enables me to teach and assess flexibly, to enhance learning and progress. As teaching changes, I strive to develop my teaching expertise and knowledge, to enrich the learning experiences of children.
During my time in leadership, I have led a ‘Science Deep Dive’ as part of a 2019 OFSTED inspection. The school received a rating of GOOD. Feedback included “learning in science is exciting”, “pupils achieve well in science” and “leader has been effective in helping teachers develop the skills they need to teach science really well”.
Working closely with parents and carers, I pride myself on forming positive relationships within the school community. With their support, I am able to create happy, challenging and effective learning environments. I have a clear understanding of safeguarding and keeping children safe in education.
