I have been a teacher of both Mathematics and English-both Literature and Language - for 35 years. I have tutored students on a one-to-one basis for 12 years. This has given me a welath of experience in every area of education and I have been fortunate enough to pass this experience onto my students.I have children of all abilities from KS1 through to A Level and Further Education. Highly successful, every one of my tutored students have gained excellent results in tests and examinations.
I am a fully qualified teacher, a former Head of Department and an examination marker for Mathematics with AQA. I am totally conversant with all of the syllabus requirements in both English Literature and Language. I have an excellent in-depth knowledge of all required texts/poems of both GCSE and A level. I love working with both numbers and words and this is reflected in my teaching and results.

My approach to teaching is fun and thorough. I enjoy teaching in a relaxed manner and find one-to-one learning so beneficial to the student. All students can approach me with problems and they will be explained calmly and in-depth. My lessons are all child-centered and are adapted accordingly. My worksheets and aids are all written to show a child's ability and progress.Availability (UK time)
