Experience
I have 20 years experience teaching primary aged children across Key Stage 1 & 2 achieving Qualified Teacher Status in 2004. Whilst teaching I have led Geography, History and Science across the school as well as mentored trainee teachers. I am able to tailor my teaching to meet the different needs and abilities of my students taking into account different learning styles making learning enjoyable and engaging.I also have experience of tutoring children 1:1 helping them to build confidence and make progress by targeting any gaps they may have. As a teacher, I understand that communication with parents is important and I am happy to discuss any requirements parents may have regarding their child as well as assessing their child during an initial meeting.
